FAQs

How do I make an appointment?

As Scorpio Mars is a private studio, all of our artists take their own bookings. If you contact your chosen artist directly, they will start the booking process with you.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

We recommend that you have a good night's sleep, have plenty of rest, are well hydrated and have had a good meal ahead of your appointment.

Please don’t consume too much alcohol the night before your appointment as this can affect the tattooing process.

Make sure that you are wearing something comfortable and loose-fitting.

Please bear in mind that if you are pregnant or breastfeeding you will not be able to be tattooed. If you suffer from a heart condition, seizures, diabetes or any other condition that compromises your immune system, consult your doctor before your appointment.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Make sure that you bring your ID to your appointment. ID cards, passports or drivers licenses are accepted.
If you have booked in for a long session, you may want to bring non-alcoholic drinks or snacks with you.
Depending on the placement of your tattoo, you may want to bring a change of clothes such as shorts or a vest top. We also recommend that you bring some dark clothes to change into to avoid ink stains on lighter coloured clothes.

How do I look after my tattoo?

Your tattoo artist will advise you on how to best take care of your tattoo at the end of your appointment. Make sure you remember to take one of our aftercare forms home with you.
